Twistwise Dosage Dial Replacement 3M Tape

Did you know our Twistwise™ Dosage Dials are re-usable? 

The 3M adhesive on the back of our dials are built to last. However, when your Twistwise™ Dosage dial starts to lose it’s adhesion, you can easily bring it back to new-like stickiness by simply replacing the 3M Tape on your cap!

Our replacement adhesive is made of 3M VHB (Very High Bonding) Tape. These are high-strength, double-sided acrylic foam replacements that let you quickly and easily create a long-lasting bond that actually builds strength over time.

Directions to replace the adhesive backing

3M VHB tape can be removed using WD-40, Goo Gone™ or a simple mixture of water and lemon oil.

• Remove the foam adhesive backing from the dial, you may have to use a little bit of force. WD-40 can be sprayed directly onto the dial back and can help to loosen tape.
• Once removed, apply a liberal amount of WD-40, Goo Gone™ or a mixture of warm water and lemon oil to the corner of a clean, dry towel or terry cloth.
• Fold the cloth over and gently buff the area containing the VHB tape. Apply a moderate amount of pressure and use small circular motions to remove the VHB tape and residue. Apply additional solvent as needed.
• Repeat this process until the VHB tape has been successfully removed.
• Wipe any residual WD-40, Goo Gone™, or the lemon oil and water mixture off the back of the dial. Make sure it is completely wiped clean and dry.
• Peel the back off one side of the new adhesive and stick it onto the dial.
• Press firmly on the adhesive to ensure it adheres.
• Peel the back off the adhesive and stick the dosage dial onto your bottle top and your Twistwise™ Dosage Dials is ready to use again!
